One Image & Four Card Designs!
ByHi Doodler’s!
Over the weekend while creating some card projects for Easter I accidentally-on-purpose came upon four ways to use the elements I created, using one simple image! And have to show-it-off! Of course playing around like this created more “decisions” for me in designing what I thought I had down pat! Which means - be flexible in creating … some of the cutest designs can be stumbled upon!
I used Prismacolor Pencils to color the DZ Doodles digi image called, Eggs & Blossoms (sized: 4.008H x 4.011W in my CreateACard program) - “one” color pencil to each egg (PC934-Lavender-PC930-Magenta-PC942-Yellow Ochre), applying the color light to darker after first applying a light coat of Prismacolor PC1068-French Grey 10% as a base for blending purposes. The blossoms were also base colored with the PC1068 and the ”line” areas were lightly touched with colors PC1063-Cool Grey and PC906-Copenhagen Blue. All colors were gently blended using Prismacolor Colorless Blender PC1077!
After doing that I used a variety of itty-bitty acrylic stamps and Tuskineko Versa Magic Dew Drop Chalk Inks to stamp designs on each egg. I happened across a gal on eBay who sells Studio G Clear Stamps at a great value! They are so “cute”!
For many of you, especially those who are just starting out with digi stamps, you’ll love mixing your collection of “acrylic” stamp images (or rubber stamps) with DZ Doodles images. Ammiki Enterprise - eBay Seller: 941nmb has a terrific value on a neatly boxed assortment of acrylic blocks! Their varying block sizes can also be purchased seperately too! It is so nice to have all my blocks contained in one handy small carrying case and each case stacks nicely on a shelf or in a drawer!
Also, don’t forget to visit The Crop Stop Store for a variety of papercrafting or scrapbooking needs … Haylie-Jo carries a large assortment and offers terrific savings!
Have a happy papercrafting day! Diane :0)

great cards Diane, love the colouring but my favourite is card no. 3. This layout appeals to me if you know what I mean.
